The Performance Project - Professional Team Development

Measurable Results

Benefits of a TeamDeveloped in 2003, The Performance Project provides an easy-to-use structure for face-to-face and virtual teams that integrates B.W. Tuckman's stages of team development with the essential steps teams need to chart their own course. The Performance Project has demonstrated positive outcomes:

  • Team members maintained 80 percent attendance on weekly conference calls.
  • Teams recorded their base line business volume at the beginning of a phase and total volume at the end of a phase.  On average, the majority of team members increased their business volume, the number of new business associates and customers.
  • The team format required members to be accountable. It provided a supportive environment for developing leadership skills, and gave members the basic tools to direct their own teams.

The Performance Project has wide spread applications for business, non-profit, and educational communities.
